Mr. Mayer serves as Chief Investment Officer of 56 Maple, where he is responsible for leading the firm’s real estate investment strategy and acquisition program. He plays a central role in identifying, structuring, and executing investment opportunities across multiple asset classes and geographies.

Mr. Mayer began his career at Heitman, where he spent 13 years and ultimately rose to the position of Partner. During his tenure, he was directly involved in transactions exceeding one billion dollars in volume, spanning acquisitions, dispositions, development, and joint venture structuring. His work included fund formation, entitlement strategies, and complex asset workouts, providing a broad foundation in both institutional capital markets and real estate operations.

Following his time at Heitman, Mr. Mayer founded HISPANIA Real Estate Investors, a retail-focused investment platform that successfully raised and deployed over $150 million across redevelopment projects in Hispanic communities nationwide. He subsequently joined Latitude Management Real Estate Investors as Managing Director, where he oversaw the stabilization and growth of a $2 billion portfolio and played a key role in multiple debt and equity fund formations. Mr. Mayer remained with Latitude through its eventual debt platform sale to LaSalle Investment Management.

Most recently, Mr. Mayer served as Managing Director at LaSalle Investment Management, where he led asset management and restructuring activities for the company’s debt platform with over $1 billion in assets under management.

Mr. Mayer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Denver and a Master of Fine Arts from Loyola Marymount University.
